Shopping and Eating out in the Village

There are lots of lovely little shops and over a dozen great value delicious restaurants in the Village - all within walking distance of the house.

There is also an excellent quality and very well stocked Carrefour supermarket open all day Monday to Saturday, and until noon on Sunday mornings.

There are also numerous bakeries and patisseries, a wine store, souvenir shops, a newsagent, book store, butchers and seafood vendors and lots of restaurants and bars all within walking distance of the front door.

Most of the restaurants offer excellent Fixed Price daily set menus and specials, and we particularly like “A La Fraich” for its delicious daily menu, and wafer thin pizza.

La Terrasse at the end of Rue Loumé three doors down towards the bridge is also a favourite spot for a casual meal and glass of local rosé sitting outside in the sun overlooking the little river. There is also a very good Michelin “mentioned” restaurant, Les Voisins tucked nearby only a couple of streets away.
